Tim Carter - Publisher, Photographer & Advertising Sales • Tim, as one of the publishers, strives to increase consciousness about green building through interesting presentations. Being a contractor and working in the building industry as a salesman, he has great insight into reaching this goal. Tim has been a photographer for 26 years, and specializes now in architectural and product images. As Carter Photographics, he shoots stock photography of quality images that make up Grand County, and has a large format printer which can produce quality archival giclée prints. Tim maintains a healthy, active lifestyle by bicycling, hiking, kayaking, and alpine, cross country & backcountry skiing.
Tina Wilson - Publisher, Managing Editor, Art Director & Designer • Tina brings a variety of experience to the magazine, including Graphic Design, Marketing and Advertising, acquired from different jobs in the field over the past 30 years. She and Tim Carter started the magazine in 2005, originally called Grand County Blueprint, which morphed into Grand County Living in 2007. She has been involved with raising public awareness about recycling, building green, and healthy lifestyles. The owner of Firebird DesignWorks in Granby, she combines her skills offering marketing, advertising, print and web design for clients. Tina leads a healthy, active lifestyle by bicycling, hiking, kayaking, and alpine, cross country & backcountry skiing.

Lisa Bornfriend - Designer & Webmaster • Music & friends brought Lisa to Colorado for several years during college, with each visit giving more & more of a reason to live here. After falling in love with the area visiting friends, Lisa moved to Grand County from Tennessee. With a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art in Graphic Design, she currently works for Firebird DesignWorks in Granby designing & maintaining websites, along with print marketing. Lisa enjoys free time in the backcountry by hiking, mountain biking, rafting, fly fishing, playing disc golf, cross country skiing, and snowboarding.
Silke Reuthlinger - Art Director & Designer • Silke Reuthlinger grew up in Germany, and came to the U.S. in 1988 for an adventure in a foreign country, which still continues on, 22 years later. She went to the Art Institute in Colorado and graduated in 1997 with an Associates Degree in Visual Communications. She has worked with two national magazines and now, self-employed as a Graphic Designer, designs magazines and marketing materials for businesses. In her spare time she enjoys Colorado's playground by hiking, biking, skiing, boarding and trying new things.

Shelly Billiet • A successful realtor in the Minneapolis area, Shelly is a former resident of Grand County. She returns often to recharge and pursue one of her favorite pastimes, writing. Shelly has written several articles relevant to the real estate industry. When visiting Grand County, Shelly also enjoys looking for a future second home, skiing, and hiking her many favorite trails.
Susan Brandt • Susan first visited Grand Lake in 1947. Her uncle had the dance band at the Pine Cone Theatre (current site of Pancho and Lefty’s) from 1949 through the early 1960's. The Brandts built their home in Grand Lake in 1989 and have been seeing shows at Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre ever since. Susan currently serves as the Vice President. In her spare time, she and Roger fly fish in the same spots her dad took her to 55 years ago.
Joan Christensen • Joan Christensen has been a resident of Grand County for more than 20 years. She was the Communications Director for Winter Park Resort for 16 years and currently operates JC Communications, a local public relations company specializing in ski industry and travel PR. She has been an associate member of the Society of American Travel Writers since 1996 & belongs to the North American Snowsports Journalists Association who bestowed her with the Bob Gillen Memorial Award for Excellence in Media
Relations in 2005. She is an avid skier, snowboarder, sailor, and hiker.
Jon de Vos • Jon de Vos is a freelance writer who enjoys living sedately in Fraser, Colorado with his wife, two smelly hounds and three crotchety parrots. He writes about life and the foibles of mountain living. Jon was born in Hollywood, California but had the good sense to move away when he was six months old. Cindy Kleh • Cindy has lived in the Colorado Rocky Mountains for the past 25 years, doing freelance photography, writing and editing for magazines and books. She stays active biking and hiking, but her winters are devoted to competitive snowboarding. She is currently the Boardercross, Giant Slalom, Slalom, Slopestyle and Halfpipe National Champion for women 50-59, and for the past four years, she has held the Overall Snowboarding Title for her age group.
Traci Maddox • Traci moved to Colorado ten years ago after a 16-year federal career. She is an author, executive coach, and organization consultant who loves to help others reach their peaks! Cynthia McCoy • Freelancer McCoy covers everything “from fun to food.” With a decade with the Sky-Hi News behind her (penning the historical column Turn Back the Pages, and putting together the A&E section), she strives to provide spunky insight to Grand County history and the local art scene. When not writing to support the causes of friends, she works on several other literary and visual art works.
Stacy Strayer • Stacy Strayer is a freelance writer and real estate broker who writes about everyday outdoor adventures, real estate, interior design, and life in general. She is a frequent contributor to Mountain House & Home Magazine, and she is a columnist for Examiner.com as “Colorado’s Mountain Fitness Examiner.” Her vices include spoiling her labs and indulging in red wine, and she has recently taken on writing grant proposals for local non-profits.
Dave Walker • Dave Walker is a consultant with 28 years of aerospace and telecommunications engineering experience, five patents, 46 published technical papers, and 20 years of experience fitting riders of all backgrounds while designing bicycles for road, mountain, time-trial/triathlon, tandem, and travel/touring applications. He has worked with Paketa, Bilenky, Nobilette, Moots, Co-Motion, and other builders.
